| About Us
A family run business since 1957, Warren Harris
founded Harris Contractors, Inc. as a residential
plumbing and heating company. What started
out as a small company quickly grew to a company
servicing both commercial and industrial markets
in all aspects of construction. Warren
retired in 1983, but his children, Ben, Dennis,
and Amy, have continued his legacy since that
time.
Successfully combining expertise, technology
and systems has been the hallmark of the company
since the beginning. We are a company that
strives to build long lasting relationships with
our customers by providing excellent services and
high quality work. Through the dedication of
our highly trained staff we are able to achieve
these goals.
The business was built by specializing in
custom industrial and institutional construction
services for companies such as Radford Army
Ammunition Plant, Celanese Fibers, and Virginia
Tech. We have served as the prime contractor
for Virginia Tech's Mechanical and Carpenter
services for numerous years. The company was
an integral part in the construction of the New
River Valley Medical Facility, which use to be the
Radford Hospital, by installing all the mechanical
and plumbing systems. In addition, Harris
Contractors, Inc. has built the addition to
Cheatham Hall at Virginia Tech, renovated the VEC
office in Radford, Virginia, and built the
Jacksonville Center in Floyd, Virginia.
These are just a few examples of the many
accomplishments of Harris Contractors over the
years.
We are a company that takes pride in its work
and strives to always offer the best service and
quality work in our field. Harris
Contractors will pull out all of the stops to be
your one stop contractor!
